Camping and Accomodation

CAMPING

Camping for race attendees will be available on site from Friday the 8th of June until Monday the 11th of June. Tents will be pitched at the side of the track.

MOTORHOMES and CARAVANS/ TRAILER TENTS  

A Seperate area will be available for motorhomes, caravans and trailer tents.

FEES

The good news is that camping will be free.  Friends and families are more than welcome to camp alongside racers, we respectfuly ask for a donation from these people, this to help offset the hire of toilets.    

FACILITIES

Facilities available are limited but adequate, there are toilets both chemical (temporary) and permanent in the visitors centre, where there are also showers (open 24hrs) and a cafe (hrs to be confirmed). For safety reasons NO open fires are permitted.  Gas BBq's and stoves are acceptable. There are no electricity hook up points (use of generators is to be confirmed).  There is no facility to empty chemical toilets (please don't empty in the temporary toilets as this fills the waste container and floods the toilets with poo!)    

ALTERNATIVE CAMPING

There is an alternative campsite (pre booking required) which is flat and grassed less than 1 mile away. (Cottington Lakes - see link to Deal Tourist Office below). It has very limited washing/toilet facilities, a small cafe and bar, it is not free! There are further campsites available near Folkstone and Dover - better to search for them directly if you wish to stay at them.    

BED and BREAKFAST

There are numerous Bed and Breakfast establishments only a few miles away in Deal, again it is better to search and contact them directly or via Deal Tourist Office (http://www.deal.gov.uk/Contents/Text/Index.asp?SiteId=328&SiteExtra=17174243&TopNavId=715&NavSideId=3660).
